Studied in London and Brighton both as a painter and a printmaker. A recent convert to working in watercolour!
Shown in London - Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, Bankside Gallery, Alexander Llewellyn Gallery and the Mall Galleries as well as in Brighton and Sussex.
Collage informs all my work. For me layering creates a tension and special dynamic of its own. Pictures are recycled - each unique piece bringing its own particular history - with specially painted 'pieces' added to create the new image.
Inspiration comes from the pieces themselves as well as outside ideas.
My work is both figurative and abstact.
